Medicaid and MVP
At this time I am in-network with these companies only in VT.
I am a participating Medicare provider accepting assignment in VT and FL. I will always need your currently active Medicare and secondary insurance (if any) cards. This insurance will not cover wellness care when you have no symptoms or medical necessity.
Worker's Compensation
I am in-network with most major carriers in VT, except AETNA and United Healthcare.
As of 2/1/25, I am in-network with CIGNA and Medicare in FL, yet I am working towards credentialing with other companies.
If needed, I can assist in billing by giving you the paper form needed for you to submit to your insurance carrier directly, if I am not in their network.
Medicare
Insurance in General
Under Florida law, an injured person can be treated by a chiropractor through MED-PAY and Florida PIP also pays $2,500 toward your medical bills. They will pay up to $10,000 if you have an emergency medical condition determination made by an MD, DO, or NP, provided the care is consistent with the original diagnosis and a referral is made by them. IN ANY EVENT, CARE MUST BE SOUGHT WITHIN 14 DAYS OF THE ACCIDENT.
Vermont does not have the same requirement for insurers, only MED-PAY.
Motor Vehicle Accident
Chiropractic care can be available through workers’ compensation in FL if your authorized doctor states it is medically necessary and related to your work accident. Please discuss it with your authorized workers’ compensation urgent care physician, nurse practitioner, or occupational medicine doctor first and obtain a referral from them. If done this way, you may receive up to 24 treatments within 12 weeks from the date of the first chiropractic treatment approved by the workers’ compensation insurance carrier. On some occasions, a carrier will voluntarily authorize additional care beyond the initial 12 weeks/first 24 treatments. VT does not require this referral, yet should be coordinated with the physician assigned by your employer.
